Hello Robot's Stretch 4 Demonstrated at TechCrunch Disrupt 2026

Hello Robot's Stretch 4, a home-assistance robot, launched in May 2026 and sold out its first production run by June. Aaron Edsinger, CEO and co-founder of Hello Robot, presented the robot at TechCrunch Disrupt, which runs from October 13–15, 2026, expecting over 10,000 attendees. Stretch 4 is designed for users with severe mobility impairments, allowing them to perform tasks such as feeding themselves and closing blinds. Edsinger emphasized that the new generation of Stretch was shaped by six years of customer feedback, aiming to create a robot that is practical for everyday use. This follows Edsinger's previous ventures, Meka Robotics and Redwood Robotics, which were acquired by Google in 2013. TechCrunch Disrupt will feature over 200 sessions and 250 speakers, with more than 300 startups exhibiting. The deadline for booking an exhibit table was September 18, 2026, and ticket prices increased after September 25.
