Vocci Launches $249 Ring for 8-Hour Meeting Note Recording

Vocci's new ring weighs under 6 grams and can record notes for 8 hours on a single charge. Priced at $249, the ring features a double-tap button to start and stop recording, enhancing its usability for note-taking during meetings. The accompanying app, however, has been criticized for being confusing and experiencing slow feature rollouts, as noted by Ivan Mehta.

The ring's case allows for charging up to three times, extending its usability for users who may need to record multiple sessions throughout the day. This follows a recent update that introduced the option to connect the app to other digital assistants, enhancing its integration capabilities.

Vocci encourages users to disclose when they are recording, aligning with privacy considerations in workplace environments. The product will be showcased at Disrupt’s Expo Hall, with the last day to book an exhibit table being September 18. The launch event is scheduled for October 13 – 15 in San Francisco.

This development positions Vocci alongside companies like Pebble and Plaud, which are also innovating in the AI-powered note-taking space.
