Google Photos Launches AI-Powered Virtual Closet Feature

Google Photos has launched its Gemini Spark virtual closet feature, now available on iOS and Android in the U.S., Brazil, and India. This feature, inspired by the film 'Clueless', assists users in managing their wardrobe. Android users gained access to this feature starting in June, following its announcement earlier this year.

To utilize Gemini Spark in the U.S., users must have a Google AI Pro or Ultra subscription. Google has emphasized that the data regarding users' clothing choices will not be shared with third parties, such as retailers. This rollout coincides with the Disrupt event in San Francisco, taking place from October 13 to 15.

This follows Google's broader strategy to integrate AI capabilities into its products, enhancing user experience while maintaining privacy.
